Matchday Guidance from 16th April 2021

We need to make you aware of specific guidance relating to watching cricket at Bentgate. There continue to be restrictions because of the Coronavirus pandemic and at present the latest ECB guidance says that spectators are not allowed until at least the next stage of lockdown easing on 17th May 2021, although hospitality (including soft drinks and tea & coffee) can remain open while cricket is played.

As spectators are not allowed on match days, the only people allowed access to the ground on match days will be to those in our hospitality area (in front of the clubhouse) and you must be seated at a table for that hospitality. No spectators are allowed from the positions dotted around the ground and you may be asked to leave unless you are enjoying hospitality in one of the designated hospitality areas.

In accordance with Government Guidelines we will be operating outdoors on a first come first served Table Service only basis in the designated hospitality areas only, we are not allowed to serve you at the bar. You will be asked to remain seated and the rule of six or two households apply whilst drinking at our establishment.

Track & Trace – You will be asked to sign in using the QR codes we have displayed or manually where we will take your details.  All visitors will be required to check-in to enter hospitality venues, not just one per group.

There will be no access to the pavilion unless using the toilets where you should enter via The Hut door and exit via the main function room. We ask you to please wear a mask when entering the building.

Our opening times are on our website and will be updated if they change over time

The club can be fined up to £1000 for any breaches of the regulations and so these rules will be enforced and right of admission is reserved. If you have any questions please send us a message.
